EuroChamber’s Health Working Group held its monthly meeting on September 17th, 2024, featuring a presentation on Harmonized System (HS) Codes by Ms. Tsolmon from the Goods Classification and Evaluation Department of the Customs General Administration of Mongolia.

During her presentation, Ms. Tsolmon discussed the latest developments in HS coding and provided practical advice for pharmaceutical importers and hospitals on how to avoid code-related mistakes when declaring goods at customs. Ms. Enkhtuya, Acting Director of the Medicine and Medical Devices Regulatory Authority, also attended the meeting and addressed questions from he participants.

The Health Working Group is co-chaired by Mr. Erdembileg Tsedev, CEO of SOS Medica Mongolia, and Ms. Onon Sukhbaatar, Senior Market Access Policy Adviser at the British Embassy in Mongolia.

The event was organized in partnership with the UK in Mongolia – British Embassy Ulaanbaatar, the SOS Medica Mongolia UB International Clinic and the Mongolian Customs.
