News, Foreign Direct Investment, Innovation and Digitalisation

FDI Working Group online meeting was held on 16 Aug 2022 with thirteen representatives from member and potential member companies. The following topics were covered:

1) Changing the negative perceptions of foreign investment by the local population,

2) Addressing issues with the mineral resources tax,

3) Judicial reform to create incentives for business to use the legal system correctly and reduce abuse and inefficiency.

The FDI Working Group aims to contribute in improving FDI climate in Mongolia, by joining efforts in advocacy with other chambers and focusing on specific FDI issues faced by EuroChamber’s member companies.
