From June 1-5, 2026, EuroChamber Mongolia's CEO, Erdene Elbegdorj, participated in the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network (EBOWN) Annual Meeting and General Assembly in Brussels, joining representatives from over 50 countries to discuss European competitiveness, international trade, and global business cooperation.

Throughout the week, delegates engaged with the European Commission, the European Parliament, BusinessEurope, Eurochambres, and other key stakeholders on topics including trade, investment, industrial policy, energy security, and international partnerships. The EBOWN General Assembly also elected the Network's 2026–2027 Board of Directors and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the voice of European businesses worldwide.

For EuroChamber Mongolia, the meeting provided an important platform to represent the interests of the European business community in Mongolia, strengthen cooperation with European institutions and global EBO partners, and contribute to discussions supporting stronger EU–Mongolia economic relations.
