EuroChamber Mongolia was pleased to welcome H.E. Thomas Graf, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia, to our office for a productive discussion on strengthening economic, trade and investment cooperation between Mongolia and Germany.

EuroChamber CEO Erdene Elbegdorj shared an overview of the Chamber’s work in Mongolia and discussed the significant potential for German expertise, technology, private-sector participation and investment to contribute to Mongolia’s economic development.

The discussion also explored how EuroChamber can help connect German businesses and institutions with opportunities in Mongolia, support stronger private-sector partnerships, and contribute to translating the strong relationship between Mongolia and Germany into greater practical economic cooperation.

We also discussed the upcoming presidential visit and its significance for bilateral relations. EuroChamber sees the visit as an important opportunity to open a new chapter in advancing the Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and Germany, particularly by giving greater economic substance to the relationship through trade, investment and private-sector cooperation.

As part of the wider European business community, EuroChamber Mongolia looks forward to working closely with the German Embassy and German businesses, while contributing to and supporting the broader priorities of the European Union and the European Commission in Mongolia.
