EuroChamber is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Erdembileg Tsedev as the Chair of EuroChamber’s newly established Health Working Group.

Mr. Erdembileg is a business executive, entrepreneur and sustainable development activist specializing in healthcare and waste management sectors. In his current role as the CEO of SOS Medica, a distinguished member of EuroChamber, Mr. Erdembileg oversees the operations of the premier emergency medical assistance provider based in Ulaanbaatar. His objective is to position SOS Medica as a leader in delivering globally standardized healthcare services in Mongolia. Today, SOS Medica is the only medical service provider certified with 4 ISO standards and is operating the first and only ISO accredited medical laboratory in the country’s history.

Mr. Erdembileg also serves as the founder and CEO of Naanovo Green Energy Mongolia LLC, soon to become Mongolia’s first waste-to-energy power plant, first major milestone in implementing global standard waste management practice. Waste management represents a substantial challenge in the country’s sustainable development frontier, posing a major risk in a form of environmental pollution, major threat to urban sanitation and public health. Mr. Erdembileg has been engaged in the waste management policy since 2018 and had become a vocal advocate for national policy overhaul by becoming the first Board member of the Mongolian National Recycling Association to represent waste-to-energy, a solution to eliminate landfilling in Mongolia.

His past professional experience also includes working as a Tax Consultant at Barash, Friedman, Friedberg and Adasko CPA (New York, NY) and as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia).

Mr. Erdembileg holds an MBA from Hitotsubashi University (Japan); MA in Public Policy from University of Chicago (USA) and an MS in Health Economics and Policy from London School of Economics and Political Science (UK).
