Back to Business 2025: Sustainable Financing for Mongolian Economy

EuroChamber Mongolia successfully hosted its annual Back to Business Forum in partnership with Khan Bank, focusing on Sustainable Financing for Mongolian Economy — a key driver for the country’s green and resilient future.

This year’s event brought together business leaders, policymakers, and international financial institutions to explore how Mongolia can align its growth with global sustainability goals. The forum was opened by Her Excellency Ina Marčiulionytė, Ambassador of the European Union to Mongolia, Anders Berglund, Chairman of EuroChamber Mongolia, and Munkhtuya Rentsenbat, CEO of Khan Bank.

The opening was followed by a fruitful panel discussion featuring Jahan Shamsiev, Country Head of EBRD in Mongolia, Erdenedelger Bavlai, FDCEO of Khan Bank, Urgamalsuvd Nanjid, Director of Monetary Policy and Forecasting Division of the Монголбанк /Монгол Улсын Төв банк/, and Anand Enkhbat, CEO of ТоС Холбоо / MSFA.

Through dynamic panel discussions and networking sessions, participants explored:

• Private sector readiness for ESG transformation and green innovation

• Policy and regulatory reforms for long-term investment

• Strengthening public–private collaboration for green growth
