Mongol Mass Media Group

Mongol Mass Media Group was originally founded in 2004 under the name Mongol Mass Media LLC, beginning with the publication of the daily newspaper “Ardyn Erkh.” In 2007, the company launched the news website www.news.mn

. At that time, ownership was split between P.Tselmuun, CEO of Altan Taria LLC, holding 50%, and Bodi Group, holding the remaining 50%.

In 2009, Altan Taria sold its shares to Bodi Group, making Mongol Mass Media LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of Bodi Group. During this period, Bodi Group already owned licenses for the “Education” (Bоловсрол) and “Eagle” television channels. With the addition of “Ardyn Erkh” and “News,” the organization was restructured and expanded into what is now known as Mongol Mass Media Group, operating under a new management model.
