The Board consisting of 12 Directors is elected by the members at EuroChamber’s Annual General Meeting every February by majority vote. A representative of the EU Delegation attends the Board meetings and acts as the liaison officer with the EU Delegation. The Board’s Executive Committee and EuroChamber’s staff manage the daily operations of the Chamber.

Mr. Anders Berglund – President, Board Member

Mr. Anders Berglund has extensive experience in Mongolia. He also has worked in Saudi Arabia​, South-Africa​, Norway​, and West African countries such as Ghana, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast.
 
Before joining MSM this year, he has been worked as the Managing Director of Atlas Copco/Epiroc Mongolia between 2012 and 2019.

Mr. Nasantulga Siizkhuu – Vice President, Board Member

Mr. Nasantulga has over 20 years of strategic leadership and business development in the trade sector. A collaborative team player who prioritizes personnel dynamics, transparency and professional development. Currently working as the CEO for an exclusive distributor of French multinational corporation “Pernod Ricard” with CRM LLC in Mongolia, representing major brands in spirits and wine industry.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Business Institute of Pennsylvania, USA.
His academic background includes a Economics Degree from Chiba University, Japan.

Mr. Markus Loch – Vice President, Board Member

Country Representative – German Sparkassenstiftung Mongolia    

Markus Loch, a seasoned banker with over 33 years of experience, has been making a significant impact in the financial sector. Mr. Loch has embarked on a unique journey as the Country Representative of Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation in Mongolia for more than 2.5 years.

In his role as Country Representative, Markus Loch is at the forefront of an exceptional project, where they are the sole supporters of Mongolia’s entire banking sector. This includes collaboration with the central bank and the banking association. Additionally, Markus and his team are dedicated to empowering the Mongolian population with essential financial education, catering to both individuals and start-ups.

Previously, Mr. Loch served as the Sales Director of DekaBank, the asset manager of the German Sparkassen Finance Group, overseeing operations in the state of Thuringia. He also held positions such as District Manager at Bayerische Landesbausparkasse, District Manager and Field Staff Trainer at Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall AG, and worked as a freelance trainer for “MLConsulting.”

His journey includes roles such as Unit Manager at RaiffeisenVolksbank Lichtenfels-Itzgrund eG, Deputy Head of the Training Department at Sparkasse Erlangen, Person in charge of service at Bayerische Landesbausparkasse’s Regional Head Office Oberfranken, and Head of the consulting and service team at Bayerische Vereinsbank AG-Lichtenfels.

Dr. Dashdorj Dugersuren – Secretary, Founding Board Member

Chief Executive Officer – Termigas Impianti Technology LLC

Dr. Dashdorj Dugersuren is the CEO of Termigas Impianti Technology LLC. His corporate experience includes managing engineering projects in construction, light industries, and chemicals, as well as importing and distributing products from Europe to Mongolia. He previously worked and consulted for companies such as Ansalco, a Finmeccanica subsidiary in electrical engineering, and Loro Piana, in cashmere processing. Termigas Impianti Technology LLC is a founding member of EuroChamber and Dashdorj was the chamber’s treasurer in 2020. He graduated from National University of Mongolia with bachelors degree in physics, and obtained Masters and PhD in physics from North Carolina State University, USA. After completing his doctorate, he conducted research for five years at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, USA, where he published several dozen articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Mr. Ariunjargal Jamiyansharav – Treasurer, Founding Board Member

Mr. Ariunjargal Jamiyansharav obtained Accounting & Finance degree in the American College Dublin, Dublin Ireland. After graduation in 2011 he joined Bank of Ireland group accounting team. He worked from 2012 until 2016 for PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit LLC as senior consultant in Mongolia. He worked as senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Slovensko s.r.o from 2016 until 2017 in Slovakia. From 2017 until 2019 he was working for HLB Mongolia Audit LLC as Executive Director. From 2019 he is founder and CEO of ARINET Associates LLC.

Mr. Hannes Takacs – Founding Board Member

Country Director – EBRD

Mr. Hannes Takacs is an experienced executive manager, investment banker and non-executive board director with a well established international network, covering bank and non-bank financial institutions, private sector companies as well as governments and regulatory authorities in the countries he worked in. He has acquired a wealth of work experience across four continents and more than 50 countries. He was a strategic adviser to management boards of various institutions and has served on six boards of directors/supervisory boards as non-executive director.

Mr. Hannes Takacs holds a MBA with distinction in Business Administration and Educational Management from the University of Leicester, UK, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Mr. Steve Potter – Board Member

Chairman of the Board, British Association for Trade and Commerce in Mongolia

Co-Founder & Senior Advisor, Taskonir Trading

Mr. Steve Potter has 40 years experience in 10 countries on 3 continents. Strong mining industry experience, plus a well-rounded knowledge of all segments of business with a focus on sales, marketing and operations, learned over a career spanning sales & marketing, management to executive leadership.

His professional experience in Mongolia includes top management roles at Enerel International LLC distributor of Porsche & Jaguar Land Rover Automobiles, Wagner Asia Equipment LLC, distributor of Caterpillar. He is involved in a number of professional organisations and NGOs including British Association for Trade & Commerce in Mongolia, Founder Institute/Exponential Partners, Misheel Kids Foundation, American Chamber of Commerce, Mongolia, PMI Mongolia Chapter, Seedrock Capital LLC and QSDC.

He has BA Hons, Economics, Geography and Certificate in Education [Commendation] from the University of Keele, England; MBA, Industrial Marketing from Scottish Business School/University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK; “Bilsen” Business Simulation at INSEAD, Switzerland and Mining Certificate from Colorado School of Mines, Denver, USA.

Ms. Dolgormaa Bukhbat – Board Member (Premium)
CEO, Bodi International LLC

Ms. Dolgormaa has more than 20 years of experience in Banking, Infrastructure, and Service industries with 13 years of top-level management roles.

One of the recent projects she managed is Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhiat railway project and has been handling several engineering mega projects in Mongolia as the CEO of Bodi Group.

Her professional experience includes top management roles in Bodi International, Golomt Financial Group, National Amusement Park and Golomt Bank.

Ms. Dolgormaa has MBA degree from Handong Global University of Korea and Master of Financial Management from ANU of Australia.

Mr. Mendbayar Tseveen – Board Member (Corporate plus)

CEO, Intelmind LLC

Mr. Mendbayar Tseveen is currently running as the CEO of lntelmind LLC which he originally co-founded. He is a serial entrepreneur and a prominent figure in the local start-up scene.

Over the last 10 years of his career, he has held numerous management positions in diverse sectors ranging from construction, energy, and technology to trading. He has led technology-driven businesses, co-founded the lntelmind Group, and successfully introduced projerts such as Shoppy.mn, Cody, Joinme and Coinhub.
 
ln recent years, he has been giving public speeches and leading panel discussions at conferences and events to motivate the youths and contribute to industry development through sharing his expertise in e-commerce, business management and technology innovation.

 

Ms. Batzul Gerelsaikhan – Board Member (Corporate)

Head of the Properties Department at Erel LLC

As Head of the Properties Department at Erel LLC, Ms. Batzul Gerelsaikhan leads a team responsible for executing the company’s strategic initiatives, including ger district redevelopment and affordable housing projects, energy efficiency initiatives, asset management, sales, and public/investor relations. Additionally, she serves as an Advisor to Choijin Suites LLC, a serviced apartments building in central Ulaanbaatar. Batzul also holds multiple board and committee positions: Member of the Board of Directors at EuroChamber Mongolia, Chair of the “Sustainability & Energy” Working Group, and Member of the Registration Committee of Over-the-Counter (OTC Markets) Mongolia at the Mongolian Association of Securities Dealers (MASD).

Previously, Batzul served as the Public Relations Director at Asia Pacific Investment Partners Limited in Hong Kong. With a solid finance background, she began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and SkyPath Partners in Mongolia. Batzul has also contributed to prestigious publications and served as a Reporting Consultant at Vivar Resources Ltd. and as Executive Director of the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (MonCham Hong Kong).

In addition, Batzul has been actively involved in community organizations such as Economists Without Borders in Copenhagen, Denmark, and served as the Co-Founder & Founding Chairperson of the Hobby School Alumni Association (Hobby Alumni) in Mongolia. Recognized for her contributions, Batzul was featured in Forbes “30 Under 30” Mongolia, and became the first Mongolian real estate expert highlighted on RETalk Asia.

Batzul holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and is fluent in Mongolian and English.

Munkhdalai Batjargal – Board member (SME)

CEO, Nito Tech

Mr. Munkhdalai Batjargal is the CEO of Nitotech LLC, a leading HR-tech company in Mongolia. He has held various strategic roles, including CEO of Unegtiin Uul LLC and Project Manager at Monnis Mining Equipment LLC. Known for his expertise in strategic planning, business development, and team leadership, Munkhdalai is dedicated to fostering growth and innovation in the traditional industries, including public transportation and mining.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Mining and geotechnical engineering from the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology, Germany.
