What we do

Main focus areas and goals of the Chamber include:


1. Policy dialogue and advocacy on behalf of its members (European/international as well as Mongolian), especially with focus on Investment climate, Trade facilitation and barriers (export/import), Human Resource management/development, etc.
2. Support to Mongolian companies to access European markets; among others through cooperation with the EU-funded TRAM program.
3. Contribution to Sustainable and environmentally friendly development of Mongolia
4. Competitiveness through Human Capital development, including vocational training, know-how and best practice transfer.
5. Access to Finance, especially for SME companies
6. Cooperation with diplomatic community and EU Delegation to Mongolia
7. Networking opportunities for establishing and developing business contacts

Mission

The mission of EuroChamber is to contribute to the improvement of business and investment climate in Mongolia through targeted advocacy and policy dialogue with government and other stakeholders, promote European Investment to Mongolia, bring the European Business community in Mongolia closer together, and create value for its members.

Vision

The vision of EuroChamber is to become strong policy & advocacy player in Mongolia, strengthen bilateral exchange between Europen and Mongolian businesses, and contribute to the highest development potential of Mongolia.

Our network

EuroChamber was founded by leading European banks and companies active in Mongolia with strong support from the EU Delegation to Mongolia and the TRAM Project. Our five founding member companies are: EBRD, ING Bank, MSM Group, Termigas Impianti Tecnologici and ARI Net Associates.

In July 2020, we have concluded a Cooperation agreement with 3 bilateral business associations: German-Mongolian Business Association (DMUV), French Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FMCCI) and British Business Group (BBG), thus now representing a united voice of European businesses in Mongolia with over 150 companies; and cooperate closely with Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, and Members of Parliament.
