On November 28, 2024, the EuroChamber Banking and Finance Working Group held its November meeting, featuring the Governor of the Bank of Mongolia, Mr. Lkhagvasuren Byadran, as the keynote speaker.
Mr. Lkhagvasuren provided a comprehensive overview of “Monetary Policy in 2025”, addressing key economic projections and responding to questions from the audience.
He also outlined the Bank of Mongolia’s policy targets for managing inflation in 2025, aiming to maintain it within a range of ±5%. Additionally, he discussed government initiatives to support SMEs, supply chains and recent changes to mortgage loan policies.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Khan Bank, Trade and Development Bank, and Capitron Bank, all esteemed members of EuroChamber Mongolia.
